James Miranda’s fiction and nonfiction has appeared in the Mississippi Review, Cimarron Review, Gulf Coast Magazine, Indiana Review, Alaska Quarterly Review, and elsewhere. In 2016 he was awarded an Individual Excellence Grant from the Ohio Arts Council. He has also been awarded residencies and fellowships from the Vermont Studio Center and the Norman Mailer Writers Colony. He has served in editorial roles at New Ohio Review, Quarter After Eight, Third Coast Magazine, and at New Issues Press. He is currently an Assistant Professor of English and Creative Writing at Wells College in Aurora, NY.
